People behind Tallence – Gökhan Gök

In our series “People behind Tallence,” we introduce the people who shape our brand and culture. Today, we’re talking with Gökhan Gök, Pre-Sales Consultant at Tallence in Hamburg. In the interview, he shares how his path led him from sports and marketing management into the world of digital transformation.

Gökhan: I realized early on that I belong in roles where you create, take responsibility, and work with people. After completing my bachelor’s degree in sports management, I’m now writing my master’s thesis in marketing management, which focuses on the role of social media in professional football.
Today, I’m a Pre-Sales Consultant at Tallence, where strategy and technology come together.

My life has always been shaped by performance. Since I was 16, I always “added something on top” after school or work—either high-performance football training or personal development. This “I want to get better” mindset has never left me.

Gökhan: I wanted to work in an environment where you can grow - both professionally and personally. Tallence felt exactly like that to me: honest, competent, curious, open.
An environment that gives you responsibility if you want it, and where you can truly contribute your ideas.

Gökhan: That I’m constantly learning. Professionally, technically, and in how I work with people.
In Pre-Sales, I’m close to clients, projects, and real challenges. I love the feeling when things move forward and you realize: okay, my contribution is actually making a difference.

Gökhan: I’m grateful to be able to work and develop myself. That may sound simple, but it’s a strong motivator for me.
This gratitude reminds me every day to do my best and make something out of every opportunity.

Gökhan: I bring analytical thinking, marketing and management knowledge, and a good sense for people. I can structure complex topics and explain them in a way that makes them tangible—internally and externally.
Consulting, presenting, and strategic thinking are just as much a part of my strengths as reliability and the willingness to take responsibility.

Gökhan: I’m excited to work in an environment that is technologically and strategically oriented toward the future. Topics around digital transformation are dynamic, complex, and constantly evolving and that’s exactly what makes them so interesting. I learn something new every day, work with different people and industries, and can actively help make companies more future-proof.

Gökhan: I enjoy tasks where I can contribute my knowledge while building something new at the same time. Digital transformation moves quickly and can sometimes be demanding. But that’s exactly what appeals to me. Bringing structure to complex topics and truly driving projects forward is what I enjoy the most.

Gökhan: For me, it’s the mix of competence, trust, and attitude. Performance matters here, but so does the way we interact with each other. You get responsibility if you seek it, and support when you need it. I appreciate the openness within the team and the ambition to truly do things well. Without big egos but with genuine quality awareness. That aligns perfectly with my own way of working.

Gökhan: I like doing good and supporting people, whether at work or in my personal life. It’s important to me that those around me benefit from my work and that I contribute something positive. Often it’s the small things that make a difference. Whether it’s a smile, genuine interest, or appreciation at the right moment. It means a lot to me when people feel comfortable, respected, and enjoy working with me.

Gökhan: I’m inspired by the combination of professionalism and humanity. There are many bright minds here with very different backgrounds, yet everyone is working toward the same goals. You feel that quality matters, but so do trust and team spirit. This environment motivates me to give my best every day while staying true to myself.

Gökhan: I’m ambitious outside of work as well. I run regularly and am currently preparing for my first marathon. I’m also a football coach and teach values like discipline and respect, most recently in the Regionalliga and previously at Bundesliga youth level (U17–U19). In my free time, I enjoy going for walks and learning new things. I simply like developing myself further, no matter the area.

Gökhan: Still in an environment where I can grow, achieve, and have a positive influence on the people around me.
