Tallence Cloud: AWS Security and Compliance for the Mid-Market
Pragmatic. Expert-led. From a single source.
Highlights, Tech // Oliver Bühler (Cloud Security & AWS Expert), Marc Seidemann (Chief Data Officer) // May 10, 2026

„We have been seeing the same pattern in customer conversations for months. AWS is set, the compliance topic is burning, and internally there is no time to think both together. That is exactly why we built Tallence Cloud.”
Oliver Bühler, Senior Cloud Security Architect & AWS Alliance Lead
As an AWS Select Tier Partner with more than 25 years of software engineering experience, Tallence combines cloud expertise with the implementation depth needed for regulated environments.
With today's launch of cloud.tallence.com, we are bringing our AWS portfolio together under a single strategic umbrella. This is more than a website. It is the formal kickoff of an initiative we have been building since the beginning of 2026, and which we will introduce publicly for the first time at the AWS Summit in Hamburg on May 20.
In this post, we explain why we are launching Tallence Cloud now, what you can find with us starting today, and what the simplest first step looks like for your organization.
Status quo: Cloud in the mid-market caught between pressure and standstill
Mid-sized and large companies in the DACH region face a double pressure in 2026. On one side, compliance requirements are becoming increasingly complex and harder for internal teams to manage alone: the BSI C5:2026 catalogue, published in April with 168 criteria across 17 topic areas, NIS2 implementation, upcoming sovereignty criteria from EUCS, DORA for financial services, and the Cyber Resilience Act for product manufacturers.
On the other side, AWS environments grow organically. Three accounts become twelve, a pilot project becomes a productive platform with IAM legacy, missing service control policies, and unsorted findings in Security Hub. Greenfield migrations are the exception in 2026. The reality is brownfield, and brownfield is messy.
What is missing in this situation is rarely another tool. What is missing is a partner who turns raw data into business risk, prioritizes clearly, and stays with the remediation rather than just delivering a report.
Our answer: Tallence Cloud
We have structured our AWS portfolio into five service categories that together cover the entire cloud journey:
- Cloud Strategy: Where do we stand, maturity model, cloud journey across five phases
- Cloud Migration: Assessment, planning, wave by wave into the AWS Cloud, handover into operations
- Cloud Infrastructure: Tallence Cloud Foundation as managed AWS platform, Tallence Container Operations as managed Kubernetes, FinOps and Site Reliability Engineering
- Cloud Security & Compliance: From the free Compliance Check to the five-day Security & Risk Assessment to the multi-week Cloud Governance Accelerator
- Application Innovation: DevOps, modernization, cloud-native development, microservices boundaries, test automation
What ties these categories together is a single promise. We do not deliver isolated building blocks, we deliver a continuous engagement. You can start with a Compliance Check and commission the remediation, the managed operations, and the subsequent modernization in the same house. From a single source means with us: the same architects and engineers who interpret the scan are the ones who later implement the solution with your team.

„For most companies, cloud is no longer an experiment but a strategic success factor. That is exactly why cloud consulting cannot be sold by the hour. We combine deep AWS expertise with clear accountability for the outcome.”
Marc Seidemann, Chief Data Officer
The simplest first step: a free AWS Compliance Check
The hardest step in any cloud security project is not technical. It is the honest baseline assessment. Where do we actually stand against current standards, and which ten findings would put our business at risk if the audit were next week.
We do that baseline for free. The AWS Compliance Check is an automated scan of your AWS environment against current compliance frameworks. You connect your account, the scan runs within minutes, and you receive a structured report. No sales pressure, no hidden gate. You keep the result and decide afterwards whether to continue alone, scale up internally, or bring in a partner.
The Compliance Check often raises the next logical question. What do these findings actually mean for our business, and what do we tackle first. That is where our Security & Risk Assessment comes in. In just five days, at a fixed price, we work jointly with your team to translate findings into clear priorities.
The result: a prioritized roadmap that an internal team would typically take weeks to produce.
Our cloud journey in five phases
We have learned that cloud initiatives do not fail on technology. They fail on sequencing. That is why we accompany your cloud journey along five phases:
- Assess: Where do we stand technically, organizationally, and from a regulatory perspective
- Design: Which target architecture fits your business and compliance, from landing zone to data classification
- Build: Migration and buildout, with clear waves, validation, and without downtime promises that do not hold
- Operate: Managed services, governance, monitoring, FinOps, with your team rather than against it
- Optimize: Modernization, cloud-native patterns, continuous improvement of the compliance posture
Every phase has a clear entry point. If you are already in phase three and need only operate, we take exactly that on. If you are still in phase one and looking for a sparring partner for your cloud strategy, we start there.
Why Tallence, why now
We have been an official AWS Select Tier Partner since November 2025. Behind that sit more than 25 years as a software engineering company and concrete AWS project experience, including engagements with ARRI and Ringfoto.
What sets us apart from the competition is not size. It is the combination of engineering DNA and the ability to build highly individualized solutions for your specific problem without losing the path to scale. We build for the mid-market company with three AWS accounts as well as for the enterprise with fifty.
Tallence Cloud is deliberately positioned as pragmatic: no buzzwords, no generic consulting packages, just solutions tailored to each customer’s environment.
AWS Summit Hamburg, May 20: Let's talk
Marc and Oliver will be on site at the AWS Summit in Hamburg on May 20. We are deliberately using the day not for a booth but for personal conversations.
If you are interested in an honest, thirty-minute baseline assessment of your AWS environment, please book a slot in advance. We take the time, look at your environment together with you, and you leave with directly actionable next steps.
Your next steps:
- Free AWS Compliance CheckTallence Cloud is deliberately positioned as pragmatic: no buzzwords, no generic consulting packages, just solutions that fit the customer’s environment.
- Book a 30-minute meeting with us at AWS Summit Hamburg on May 20, 2026, using the keyword “AWS Summit”. We look forward to the conversation.
