Tallence AG Joins Bitkom

Looking back on 25 years of Tallence, I don’t think in terms of releases, milestones, or projects – I think in terms of partnerships. Of all the companies we’ve grown alongside, because we were willing to rethink the way things are done.

Digital transformation doesn’t happen in isolation. It requires dialogue, diverse perspectives, and a shared understanding of what good digitalization means – especially in sensitive and complex industries like telecommunications, insurance, or public administration.

By joining Bitkom, we are becoming part of a network that shares this mindset. Bitkom stands for open exchange between tech companies, start-ups, policymakers, and society. For us, this is the next logical step: Because those who want to shape digitalization must get involved – with ideas, with responsibility, and with experience.

Tallence brings more than two decades of experience in modernizing critical IT systems – from developing modern applications to migrating entire platforms. But we also know: we still have a lot to learn. That’s why we look forward to new perspectives, collaboration, and a shared outlook on the future.

With over 2,200 members, Bitkom is the voice of the digital economy in Germany. It connects start-ups, SMEs, and large enterprises with policymakers, academia, and society.

Topics such as digital sovereignty, artificial intelligence, 5G, cloud infrastructures, and digital administration are exactly the areas where Tallence delivers real value as a peer-level partner.

As a new Bitkom member, we look forward to contributing our expertise even more actively to the digital discourse – especially when it comes to regulatory requirements, sovereign IT infrastructures, and practical migration strategies.

What does it actually mean to take digital responsibility? For us, it means developing technologies that are not only innovative, but also secure, compliant, and socially relevant.

One example: Together with our subsidiary ImageSign, we developed a cloud-based solution for the secure handling of digital ID photos – already in use today for the issuance of official identity documents. The system automatically detects manipulations and meets the highest BSI standards.

Projects like this demonstrate what we aim to contribute to Bitkom: experience at the intersection of technology, regulation, and social impact. Because digital sovereignty, data protection, and trust are not created through theory – but through real, tangible solutions.
