Tallence Matrixx Software Interview

When technology meets transformation, new opportunities for value creation emerge. In this exclusive Peer-to-Peer CMO Interview, Nicole Schroeder (Head of Marketing, Tallence AG) and Jennifer Kyriakakis (Founder & CMO, MATRIXX Software) discuss the evolving world of monetization platforms, the importance of strategic partnerships, and how telcos can turn 5G, satellite, and API ecosystems into scalable business models. A conversation about speed, agility, and the art of turning innovation into real revenue.

Note: this conversation is available in English to preserve the original tone and nuance of the exchange.

Nicole: Jennifer, it’s a pleasure to speak again. As marketing leaders, we both work at the intersection of technology, innovation, and growth. For MATRIXX Software, that means shaping the future of monetization platforms globally. For Tallence, it means helping operators translate these innovations into real-world business outcomes.

Your recent announcements from the TPG Telecom renewal through 2030 to the 25-year milestone with the 3GPP SA5 Charging Working Group - are more than product news. They reflect a strategic shift in how telcos are redefining monetization, and that’s exactly where our partnership comes in.

Jennifer: Thanks, Nicole. I couldn’t agree more. The landscape is shifting fast, and it’s no longer enough to just provide technology. You need strategic partners who help operators execute and scale. That’s what makes our collaboration with Tallence so powerful - we complement each other’s strengths.

A Shared View on Transformation

Nicole: At Tallence, we see many operators caught between legacy billing systems and the urgent need to launch new business models - from 5G SA slicing to B2B2X bundles. That’s why our strategy has always been to combine deep telco integration expertise with platforms like MATRIXX to enable rapid time-to-market.

Jennifer: Exactly. What makes the Tallence - MATRIXX Software relationship so powerful is the complementary DNA. We bring a cloud-native, convergent monetization platform, and Tallence brings the migration, integration, and industry know-how that gets complex operators from Point A to Point B- without the pain of multi-year transformations. We saw this clearly with TPG and StarHub - two large-scale operators who can now monetize across prepaid, postpaid, wholesale, and FWA through a single stack.

Beyond Connectivity: Monetizing the Sky

Nicole: One of your more recent launches - Billing for Satellite & NTN - aught our attention. At Tallence, we’re seeing a real push from our telco clients to explore hybrid connectivity business models.

Jennifer: Absolutely. Satellite isn’t a side play anymore. With NTN monetization built directly into the MATRIXX platform, operators can blend satellite and terrestrial access seamlessly. No parallel stacks, no extra middleware. And that’s where partners like Tallence come in: you know the network architecture, operational realities, and how to integrate it into a cohesive customer experience. Together, we enable operators to scale quickly and launch offers their legacy stacks could never support.

The Unified Monetization Plane

Nicole: I keep hearing one word from CCOs and CFOs lately: unification. And that’s at the heart of MATRIXX Dynamic Billing, isn’t it?

Jennifer: Exactly. Dynamic Billing is all about collapsing silos - pricing, charging, and billing in real time. It delivers CFO-grade precision with the agility marketers need. What makes it work in real deployments is Tallence’s ability to modernize the stack, migrate from legacy OCS/BSS, and ensure operators can launch on day one. That’s why this partnership is so strategic: we’re not just selling a platform, we’re delivering transformation.

Looking Ahead: 2026 and Beyond

Nicole: If we were to summarize the next 12 months in one theme, I’d say it’s about operationalizing new revenue- turning 5G, NTN, slicing, and APIs into actual business models.

Jennifer: Well said. My headline would be: “Monetize everything, in one place.” Use an Integrated catalog to drive unified pricing, charging and billing for everything from terrestrial to satellite to API exposure. Operators who get their foundation right with partners like Tallence will move 10× faster when the next revenue wave hits.

Nicole: Jennifer, thank you for this conversation. It’s exciting to see how we’re turning industry shifts into tangible monetization outcomes together.

Jennifer: Likewise, Nicole. Telcos don’t just need technology-they need trusted partners who help execute transformation at speed. That’s exactly what this partnership stands for.
